Can I get smoke inhalation from a candle?

Can I get smoke inhalation from a candle?

Can I get smoke inhalation from a candle?
I was plugging in a charger for my laptop and I was leaning over a candle for like 2 seconds. I only breathed once, am I in danger of smoke inhalation? What should I do? (And I'm just the teeniest bit prone to overreaction sometimes lol). Thanks :]

WOW. Seriously, your parents must drink like fish just to keep their sanity with you in the house. No, you're not at danger of having any ill-effects from inhaling the smoke from that candle.

You're amusing, the way you put it. The real danger to your lungs is what you're breathing outdoors.

Anyway, you'd have to 'smoke' a whole lot of candles to get 'Altarboy's Disease' which I had as a kid altarboy. Anyway, if it kills you (and me), we've got it made, already consigned to the 'heaven-bound' bus as 'candle martyrs.'

No, you have to take in a whole lot of the toxic smoke produced by burning buildings. a teeny bit of candle smoke for two seconds isn't going to hurt you, you're just fine ^_^

You've over-reacted this time, too.

if you had smoke inhalation problems, you would be too racked up on the floor coughing, and could not use the computer.

You need to do NOTHING. Youa re going to be fine.

its not good for you in large doses but dont make a habit of it, you may get dizzy from it or worst, but you'll be fine if it was just the once

say 3000 hail marys backwards in mandarin chinese. This has been documented to work for smoke inhalation.

I'm sure you'll be fine. Just don't concentrate and inhale anything like that, it could cause a problem, you never know.

You're not over reacting. You are in real danger and are surely doomed. Don't buy any long DVDs.

Unless it was a candle burning toxic waste, you're fine.
