Enamel loss and what to do so it wont worsen?
I have enamel loss and there transparent and yellow looking. I don't want them to get worse but i don't know what to do i dont drink soda and anything with acid like hot sauce n oranges n lemon (which i like alot). The dentist gave me a toothpaste for it but it dosent seem to be working since the ones that weren't affected are know going clear. Anything else i can do so they wont get any worse???? Also i need braces just on one side of the top part. Will having braces affect my teeth?? Thanks in advance for the help.

Hello, Enamel doesn't grow back but you can protect the enamel you still have..I suspect the dentist gave you a tooth paste called "Pro-Enamel" which is a great product..As for those teeth that are in bad shape ask your DDS about putting "Veneers" on then...Not only would that protect the teeth , they would make them look great...I suspect you need to deal with the enamel issue before considering braces.
