Marble Sized knot in/on throat?

I have a marble sized knot under my chin. If i stretch my neck up its about 2 inches down from my chin in the middle. What is it? Is it normal? It swells up like every day or two. Its been there for about a year but worst in the past 6 months. I went to the doctor and she said it was fine but i dont think so. she said it was a lympnode or whatever. but it hurts when its swells up and fells like someone is pressing on my throat. So what is it? help please!

You have a swollen lymph node. I get that sometimes, it's scary the first time. Normally I would tell you not to worry about it and you probably have a cold or something. However, since this has been going for 6 months you should see your doctor again, or get a second opinion somewhere else.
