My ear pierced has been infected for a while? why do I do?
In 2007 I got my second ear ring pierced, it was all fine but then since like 2009 its been infected I have like a ball inside and when I squeeze it pus comes out. What do I do to uninfect my hole, also I would like to have it back to normal?

A lot of people are going to tell you to take it out, but DON'T. That's the worst thing you can do. The piercing will close and you'll be left with a sist inside filled with puss which may require surgery. What you should do is clean it TWICE a day with Dial antibacterial hand soap (plain unscented!). Even after it's better, keep cleaning it. Infections can spread, so wash your hands a lot. A lot of piercing shops sell a product called H2Ocean. I'd spray it on after you clean your ear with Dial (UNSCENTED) in the morning and leave it there until you clean it again at night.
Don't use peroxide or alcohol. It eats away at freshly healed skin. Dial gets rid of bacteria just as well. Also, do not use antibiotic creams or ointments. Any piercer will tell you the same thing I just did.
After your piercing is healed enough to take it out, take out the stud or ring and clean it separately with Dial and H2Ocean to get rid of crusties.
