Penis Question?????????

I have foreskin and the head of my penis seems to be more red then pink. Is this normal or is it due to an irritation. I have slight discomfort

If you are uncircumcised, moisture could cause friction and irritation of the head. Make sure you shake it twice before packing it away.

Also, if you've changed soaps (body, laundry, etc) or lubricants recently, you could have a localized reaction and simply changing your soap or lubricant could fix that right up.

On a completely more serious note, if you've had any kind of promiscuous sex recently, it could be something else. Redness typically means there's some kind of battle going on on the biological level. So, make sure to glove it. (Unless you did glove it for the first time and now you're rashing up; could be a latex allergy).

I don't know, the skin is a hard one to diagnose. Best suggestion would be to see your physician, and he may refer you to a dermatologist if needed.

The color of your glans (penis head) may very well be normal. If it's always been reddish rather than pink, then it's normal for you.

The discomfort could be an issue. When do you experience the discomfort? It's okay and normal to have some discomfort to touch the glans directly, as it's usually covered up by your foreskin and thus really sensitive to direct touch. This isn't anything to be worried about.

The discomfort could be the result of some irritation. It's important to pull back your foreskin and wash under there every time you take a shower/bath. The irritation could be from the soap you're using down there, so stop using soap on the area under your foreskin and see if things get better. Irritation could also result if you wash under your foreskin too frequently - so once a day is enough.

Other than that it should be no big deal. Ignore the guy who implied that you should get circumcised, that's totally unnecessary. Enjoy what you've got! Many would consider you lucky. :-)

Could be irritation,but bkeep it skin back evertime you go pee or anytime bath etc. if not the skin can grow closed and you will have to have a Dr. to remove it later in life,my mother always told me when I was a small boy,keep it skin back and keep it clean

Its normal, different men have different colored penises. But if you feel like there's something wrong just go to a doctor.

And people wonder why others are circumcized?

If you were circumcized you wouldn't have this issue. Plus your wang would be wayyy more sensitive during sex.

If you have slight discomfort it is being irritated, could be new soap, in any case if it continues or gets worse see a doctor.
