My Uncle stopped using Meth about 7 months ago. Can his brain damage be fixed?
He was depressed from going through a rough divorce so he turned to drugs; Meth to be exact. He was on it for a coulple of months until my dad talked to since into him.

But now I'm worried that his brain damage is permanent. Is it? And what can we do to help restore some of it?

Depends on how bad it is. If he's become schizophrenic, which is a common effect of long term meth use, then probably not. Meth kills a lot of brain cells and those will never come back. If his brain damage is simply some loss of cognitive skills, then he can re-learn how to better perform those tasks.
