Get new shoes. If you put a lot of miles on your running shoes (6+ miles a week) you should change them out every 3 to 6 months depending on your activity level. The heavier you are, the more stress is put on your legs and the padding of the shoes. The only definate way to cure them is to not run. If you have to do cardio, try using low impact exercise machines (elliptical) or try swimming.
