Scar on nose need help!?

So it's been almost 12 weeks since I accidentally got a cut on my nose and it left a scar. My doctor glued the cut but so far the scar is still noticeable and there's a little bump on top of the scar. It is also kind of red and shiny. I'm applying aloe vera, vitamin e right now but it seems like nothing is happening. What should I do? I heard Mederma is good for scars. Can you help me please? This scar is really bothering me.
